I was sitting at my work desk when I got a message from my ex-girlfriend. She said that Steve Irwan was dead. I thought to myself, what joke has she sent me? Where's the rest of it? So I jumped online, and sure enough, Steve had been killed by a Stingray.

CRIKEY!! I was stunned. Here's a guy that you either love him, or hate him, and world wide, he is as famous as they come. I'm here in Thailand, and his show is always on the Discovery Channel. Everyone here knows who he is. I told one of my workers that The Crocodile Hunter is dead, and he couldn't believe it. He went out and told all the other Thai's. This guys was huge, forget Croc Dundee, he was nothing compared

As an Aussie you can't begin to understand how big this guy is, until you see it first hand overseas. This is tragedy. I jumped onto the Herald Sun's website, and there were over 350 comments regarding his death. From people all over the world. A lot of sorrow is being shed for a guy whom annoyed the hell out of everyone, yet we still loved him.

It's amazing how his death is affecting so many people. I reckon if Johnny Howard died no one would give a shit. I know I'd throw a party. Maybe the Australian politicians need to take a look at what the people really want. We really want someone that will represent us, not themselves. People like Steve make me proud to be an Aussie. People like our politicians make me want to throw up.

Anyways, enough from me, before I start calling the entire political party a bunch of effen bastards.....
