True Love

I was looking through some photos of Rocky and Richsie, my two Pug Dogs. There's one photo in particular which blows me away. I never realised how special it was until after I lost my Richsie. To me it shows the love that the two dogs had for each other in such a short time.

Rocky is still taking it fairly hard. Today we had a family do (Girlfriend's Family), and we originally weren't taking the dogs. But after what happened yesterday, there was no way I was leaving Rocky here alone. And good thing we did. The poor little guy wouldn't let us out of his sight at all.

So all day I sat in the car with him. Several times he whined and whined, when he seen other dogs. He seems ok at the moment. He's asleep.

When we got home, we re-buried Richsie. I wasn't happy with the original way we laid her to rest. There are pigs and other such scavenging wildlife around here, so I wanted to bury her deeper. Now I am happy she is protected.

She's a dog. We had her only 2 months. Yet I feel as though I have lost a lifelong friend. And I am really worried about Rocky. I hope the little fella is ok.

I probably wont write for a few days, as I need to move on, and try to stop stressing about it, and how there were a million things I could've done differently and she'd still be alive etc.

I'll post up a photo of her gravesite, as I want a permanent reminder of her final resting place.

Take care everyone, things happen so fast in life that usually we are never expecting it.

Ciao

Where Is She?

My dog Rocky has done nothing but lay around looking like this all day. Poor guy. Normally him and Richsie would be fighting over who gets to play with the toys. Normally Richsie would win.
I want to be able to have just 1 minute to know what Rocky is thinking. I hope he isn't really shattered and heartbroken. I know he is just a dog, but to me some dogs are better than most people.
It's been about 10 hours since my little girl died. I keep expecting her to suddenly go flying through the loungeroom with Rocky in toe trying to get his toy, or some food back.
My poor little girl........

R.I.P. Richsie

Well, the partnership that was Rocky and Richsie is prematurely over. This morning we found Richsie in the pool. Poor little girl.

We knew she couldn't swim, but she never went near the pool. She was scared of it. We've left her and Rocky outside for over 10 hours frequently when we go away. Never a problem. This morning I was trying to sleep so the dogs went outside. An hour later my girlfriend went outside and seen the body. She freaked out.

The photo here is the last photo of her. It was taken shortly after I got her out of the pool.

We've buried her across the road.

Rocky doesn't seem to know whats happened yet. He will once he decides he wants to play with her.

I will miss that dog, she was only 4 months old, and not 100% Pug, but she was beautiful, and created a lot of happiness and laughter for us. So sad.

Rest In Peace Richsie. I'm sorry I failed you as a owner. Goodbye little girl..........

Some Pics For You

So I have a few pics to put here for you.

The first two are from last Sunday when me and my GF went down to the beach near my home. Isn't that a wonderful setting with the sun, beer, and food? It's awesome down there.

The 3rd pic is of some clothes we brought for the dogs. I know they look silly, but it amuses my GF for a few days.

The 4th pic is of where Richsie sleeps. Under my pillow. Weird. If I am not careful and just flop into bed, then I will crush her. I'm so worried that through the night I may roll and kill her. But that hasn't happened yet.

The last pic is just of the dogs outside mucking around

So enjoy.......
