I just had a good long weekend. On Friday Night I had way too many beers with some friends at the Tequila Bar (Aussie owned bar). On Saturday after only an hours sleep the guys from work called me and asked what I was up to. So I drove an hour to where they were having drinks and lunch. Nice place too, a little island just off Sri Racha. Some of the guys had just finished the night shift, and were having some drinks before going home to bed.
I think we finished around 4 in the afternoon. I got home around 6 and slept till 8 or 9 the next day!! Was very tired. And then Sunday night I had some more drinks at various establishments. Not as much as Friday night, but still a few.
On Monday I took the girlfriend to a temple on a hill. It is one I’d been wanting to check out, but was turned off by the thought of all the steps (see picture attached). Over 500 bloody steps!! But once you got up top, and took in the view, amazing. Worth every heavy breath.
I also took some photos of the dogs that you see everywhere here in Thailand. Ugly freaking mutts. They remind me of something from a scary movie, where the dogs have been brought back to life to eat people. Yet these dogs haven’t had any ‘special effects’ added. These things are ugly!!
Anyways, today I have to go back to work. Short week thank god. And pay day tomorrow. Might go have lobster tomorrow night.
