So I've been lazy lately. I've got shitloads on at the moment. Just haven't had the time to sit down and add stuff onto here. I've got some great photos of stuff, and stories to tell, but just haven't had the 'creative mind' to put it down to here.

But I will get there. I'm going away over the xmas break. Gonna follow the railway line from Kanchanaburi (Bridge Over The River Kwae) to the Burma border. For no reason other just to get away. Should be interesting.

Anyway, laziness is calling out my name, so I'm off to bed. So to all my millions of Blog readers that have complained that I haven't updated in a while (you know who you are...) Sorry, and I'll get some KY to help pull my finger out of my ass and update more.....

Japanese Restaurant

Yesterday I had some things to do in Bangkok. Even though Bangkok is only about 150kms away from where I live, it is still a big day and a long drive in, around, and out again.

Anyway, I had the missus with me, and we decided to try some Japanese for lunch. We had tried this style of dining before in Malaysia (KL). It's quite good. Except for this time, we cooked our own. You sit at a table, and in front of you a conveyor goes around with plates of food on it. It was a buffet, so you just grab whatever you want, throw it into some boiling water (I had boiling 'Tom Yum' soup, very nice). Then eat.

Hey there. Wow, 1 blog to go and I've done 300!!! I'm still trying to find something very good to put on here for it.

My weekend was ok. What a game on Friday night hey?? Awesome. Geelong are so lucky that we kicked so shit. Next time around....

On Saturday me and a few other Aussies living here went out to Horseshoe Point, to watch a local game of AFL. Yes, here in Thailand. The Thailand Tigers played the Hong Kong Dragons. And to be truthful, the quality was very good. Normally Thailand Tigers play in bangkok, and usually just against each other, and then every now and then they have international games against the other Asian countries. See the pics here.

This Friday, Hawks vs the Pies. Wow, what an easy win that'll be!!! LOL.

Wow, I'm up to 300 blogs soon. This is my 294th Blog. I can't believe I've almost made it 2 years. Next month will be 2 years.

I didn't think I'd get to 100 blogs. But sweet. Anyway, I will try to get some really good photos and stuff to post on the 300th blog. Maybe the first photo you guys will see of me and my girl together hey??

I Hate Mondays - Don't You???

Well, once again it's Monday. Gee I hate Mondays. Like a lazy Sunday, yet you gotta spend it at work.

Over the weekend my phone started playing up. I don't know what's wrong with it, but when you push the clear button, the number 9 comes up. When you push number 9, it clears the screen.

I dunno. I've sent it in to be fixed, and knowing this joint it'll take 2 months. Gee I hope not. I use that phone mainly to listen to podcasts. There's not a lot in the way of good english music on the local radios here. So I depend on my phone now. I download podcasts, a few hours of ir per day, and use that to help me get through the day.

Wanna know what I listen to?;; I use Itunes, and download the following daily podcasts:

Each one is about 20 mins to 30 mins, sometimes longer. On days when I have to drive 45 mins to work, 45 mins home etc, it is good to have a chuckle.

February 2008 Update

So it's been a slow week. Not much to do.

Footy starts again soon. Can't wait for that. Been itching for footy eve since the final siren of the Grannie last year. That stupid NFL doesn't compare. They claim it to be the world's greatest sporting event (Superbowl). If they staged that at the same time as the World Cup, Olympics, AFL Grand Final, FA Cup etc, I'm sure they'd come in near lat in terms of global audience watching.

SO the dogs are doing well. Except Rocky, he caught really bad Kennel Cough from Missie. He's quite sick at the moment, but he'll improve. His medication he's on at the moment causes he to not have any control of his bladder. So last night he was sitting there and he just started peeing. He thought I was gonna belt him, but I just told him that was ok, and then put a baby nappy on him.

Yes, a baby nappy. And this morning it was chockers.

Missie was VERY playful this morning, so much so that Iw as late to work because I couldn't resist playing with her for half hr or so. Very cute. It's the first time since we got her that she's piped up liked that. I filmed her mucking around, but you'll have to wait til I put it on here. So funny. And her bark. my god, she wouldn't even scare a fly off her nose with that bark.

This weekend is a quiet one, as I have my cousin coming soon, and need to save some money for that. gonna be good. No shopping, no markets, no temples etc (well, a few). Just Drinking and bars. Drinking and bars. I'm taking the time off work while he's here, so I can enjoy myself as well. Since I've been here it's been work work work. Finally, a week to just relax and enjoy.

I'll try to blog and get some photos up here of when Shannon is here. I'll of course be hiding the incriminating photos.......(mine mainly I reckon.....) LOL

Ok, go back to doing whatever you was doing, I gotta go do some work.

Check this Smarty Pants out...

Yesterday we went down the beach for a few hours, a few drinks and a feed. Where we sat there were 3 chairs, but only me and my girlfriend. I was about to ask someone to take the extra chair away when Rocky got in it and claimed it for himself.

Then Kae brought his water bowl up to him for a drink, and he sat his front feet in it for several minutes before relaxing in his chair again. Little bugger. Then he dug a small hole in the sand and laid down, so I preceded to bury him. He didn't move. he was loving the attention.

Then he went for a swim, looked like a drowned rat, but had an absolute blast. We'll try to go down every Sunday as it is a great way to pass the day. And the best thing is AUD$25 gets you 4 plates of food (Fried Rice, Mini Chicken Drumsticks, Spicy Salad with Squid, and Som Tum), plus I had 6 beers. Pretty cheap.

My New Phone

A few weeks ago I borught a new phone. I brought the latest Nokia N Series, The Nokia N95 8GB. Pretty good phone.

The 8Gb is it's memory!! So far I have over 1400 mp3's on it, which equates to 4 days and 2 hrs of music (so the phone tells me). Heaps of different options.

On some of the new phones you can connect to the internet. With this beauty, I can connect via wireless, which is free!! So because at my home I have wireless, I can connect for free. Also at airports, hotels, restaurants etc. Pretty freaking cool. But if no wireless, then there is the usual internet connection that you can use and pay for.

One of the main reasons I got this is it has GPS function! At first I couldn't get it working, but then after some internet seaching, I worked it out. It's awesome. Now I can go explore Bangkok without getting lost. You can see in the second photo that I have pinpointed my house in Albury. From the Internet, you can download maps of cities. So if I want to go to say Beijing (which I am going in June), then I download the map and off I go. I love it.

I wont tell you the price because my mother will find out and probably kill me..... Nah, just joking. This phone ain't cheap, let me just say that......
