Hey y'all. Have a look at the best restaurant in thailand. These food carts are everywhere. Sometimes they are just push ones like the one in the picture, sometimes they are attached to the side of a motorbike.
You'll be sitting at a bar and one of these will go past every 5 minutes or so. Sometimes they have chicken, chips, sausages, fried maggots, fried grasshoppers, fried scorpion.....
I'd have to say some of the food to come from the carts easily have to be much better than what you get at a restaurant. Cheaper too. At any restaurant you'd pay 2 or 3 times as much as what you'd pay here. A bag of deep fried grasshoppers only cost bout 30 or 40 cents!!
