I am going to add a new part to my blog. Every week here I get 3 different local Pattaya Papers. Usually in them is one or 2 very funny/stupid stories. I'm going to put them on here for you to read too. I always get a good chuckle.

Man knifes wife for poor meal

The Banglamung police were informed on 8th January at half past midnight that a patient came into Banglamung hospital with serious injuries on her head and requested the police come investigate.

On arrival the police found that the doctors were attending to head wounds on Mrs. Sompong Duangjan, aged 35. She was cut in the head twice by no one else but her husband; Somkid Chaodee, aged 33, after they had a fight.

The police went to their house to question her husband Somkid, who told the police that he did it because of anger. Somkid explained that he is a construction worker. That day after work he went out to catch mongoose and lizards for his wife to cook. However, since his wife had been drinking all day, she forgot to put in the ingredients to the dish, and served up just plain water. He was so tired and angry that he grabbed a hooked knife and hit her on the head. Hearing the screams the neighbors came in to separate them and took Mrs. Sompong to the hospital as she was bleeding severely.

Somkid was taken to the police station and he will remain there until further proceedings can be made after his wife recovers in hospital.
