What A Beautiful Day

It’s such a beautiful day today. But bloody hot!! I went for a swim at 9 this morning, and I was dry 5 minutes after getting out.

There’s not much to do today. It’s The Thai Queen’s Birthday today, so it is also Mother’s day here. Happy Thai Mother’s Day Mum, I love ya heaps!!

Yesterday the much improved Brisbane Lions Roadtrain ran into a flock of Hawks on the MCG and got smashed all over the field. My boys just seem to keep going forward when they shouldn’t be. Bit like the Kangaroos. Had we both finished just outside the 8 at the end of this year, then it would have been a huge improvement on last year. Where are we instead? Hawks are 2nd, and the Roos are playing the Eagles for 2nd place. Unbelievable.

And at the moment the Eagles are just up in the 3rd quarter. The other game, Geelong vs Adelaide, well, the cats are smashing the crows. Predictable that one. Well, actually I thought the crows may have given them a shake. Not so.

My cousin Jeremy had his 21st birthday party last night, so Happy Birthday Jeremy. Pity I couldn’t go, it sounded like a good time. Even if it was held out at the Walla Walla football clubrooms.

It’s only lunchtime here, I have nothing to do today, and tomorrow is a day off as well. I have nothing to do tomorrow either. Maybe I’ll go into work and do some welding. We’re building a heap of pallets for the factory, so I can always do that I suppose.

I was reading the Herald Sun online, and read an interesting story about a 9 year old kid that’s been jailed for not only being a little criminal, but also an alcoholic. I am waiting for people to blame the Government. The real criminals here are the little bastards parents. Where the hell are those 2 pieces of shit? Fancy allowing kids to do that?

Kids nowadays scare me. It just doesn’t look good for the future does it? Who’s gonna run this country when all we have nowadays is a bunch of criminal wimps. When I was young only 20 years ago, I was terrified to do things wrong. Not scared of the police, but of my parents. I still did things wrong, but not as many as I would have if it wasn’t for my parents.

The government can be to blame I suppose for being too ‘American’. Yeah yeah, everyone has rights. Soon people will be able to kill, and the victims families will be crucified for allowing it to happen. Think about it, I’m not joking.

Anyways, I’ve spoke enough crap for today, I’m going to go listen to the footy.
