Hawks just keep flying high....

So I began typing this last night, but stopped part way through. I’d had way too many beers, and really couldn’t think of anything to say.

So tonight I sit here waiting for Smallville to start, and thought I’d better get my entry done before it gets too late for bragging rights.

Yes, bragging rights. I’m starting to get worried, because my team have won again. I just can’t believe how well they are doing. Like everyone else, I am so waiting for them to crumble. But so far all they seem to do is defy the odds and keep winning….

We beat Collingwood yesterday in an awesome match. Buddy played pretty crap, yet still managed 4 goals, pretty damn good. Next week we have Adelaide at AAMI stadium. I originally had Adelaide picked to win, but after the recent form, I have to stick with my boys.

And Geelong, how freaking good are they? Having Geelong on top and Hawks at second must remind so many people of the late 80’s/early 90’s where Geelong were very dominant, but couldn’t get a flag. I bet Geelong fans are wishing we weren’t up there, could be scenes reminiscent of 89 if it all goes the way it is so far.

An all Victorian Grand Final… Gee, wouldn’t that be special….
